Sana’a University ADQAC Monitors Academic and Administrative Performance at Faculty of Engineering

A team from the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center (ADQAC) at Sana’a University conducted a field visit to the Faculty of Engineering today to review the level of academic and administrative performance and assess the readiness of the educational environment and infrastructure in light of quality assurance and academic accreditation standards.
The visit included a tour of several Faculty facilities, during which the team reviewed the progress of educational and research activities and inspected classrooms, laboratories, service facilities, and infrastructure components. The visit aimed to assess the Faculty’s level of compliance with academic standards and identify strengths as well as opportunities for improvement and development.
The visiting team comprised Dr. Ali Shamlan, Dr. Bashir Mufarraḥ, and Mr. Adel Al-Qubati. The team also held a meeting with Mr. Mohammed Al-Odaini, Secretary of the Faculty, and the administrative officer, during which a number of academic, administrative, and institutional performance indicators were reviewed. The meeting also addressed the current status of operations at the Faculty, development plans, and mechanisms for enhancing performance quality.
The ADQAC team emphasized the importance of the Faculty’s continued efforts to improve institutional and academic performance, strengthen practices that support continuous improvement, and enhance the quality of the educational environment and services provided. Such efforts contribute to achieving the Faculty’s objectives and fulfilling quality assurance and academic accreditation requirements.
The visit forms part of the ADQAC’s regular program for monitoring the performance of Sana’a University’s faculties and centers and identifying their needs and development opportunities. It supports continuous improvement efforts and the University’s drive to foster a culture of quality and enhance the quality of its academic outcomes.
