Sana’a University ADQAC Evaluates Academic and Administrative Performance at Faculty of Languages

A team from the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center (ADQAC) at Sana’a University conducted a field visit today, Monday, to the Faculty of Languages as part of the Center’s periodic evaluation program to assess academic and administrative performance and determine the level of infrastructure readiness and its compliance with quality assurance and academic accreditation standards.
The visiting team comprised Dr. Nabila Al-Serabi, Dr. Hiba Al-Marouei, and Ms. Naseem Al-Kebsi. The team reviewed the Faculty’s educational and research activities and inspected classrooms, laboratories, service facilities, and various infrastructure components to assess their suitability to academic requirements and standards, identify strengths, and determine opportunities for improvement and development.
The team also held a meeting with the Faculty’s leadership, attended by Dr. Mujeeb Ali Qasim, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies; Dr. Ali Shamlan, Vice Dean for Quality Affairs; and Mr. Ahmed Al-Matari, Faculty Secretary. The meeting reviewed the level of institutional, academic, and administrative performance and discussed development and continuous improvement plans, as well as mechanisms for enhancing the quality of educational, research, and administrative processes.
The ADQAC team emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to establish a culture of comprehensive quality assurance and strengthen institutional practices that contribute to improving performance and enhancing the quality of academic and administrative services. Such efforts will strengthen the Faculty’s capacity to fulfill its mission and strategic objectives and meet quality assurance and academic accreditation requirements.
The visit forms part of the ADQAC’s program for monitoring and evaluating the performance of the University’s faculties and centers, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and strengthening institutional practices in accordance with quality standards. It also seeks to enhance the quality of academic and administrative performance and improve the quality of Sana’a University’s educational outcomes.
