Field Visit to Evaluate the Quality of Academic and ‎Administrative Performance at Faculty of Applied ‎Medical Sciences

A team from the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center (ADQAC) at ‎Sana’a University reviewed the current state of academic and administrative performance ‎at the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences during a field visit aimed at evaluating the ‎educational and research processes and assessing the readiness of the Faculty’s facilities ‎and their suitability to quality assurance and academic accreditation requirements.‎

The visiting team comprised Dr. Abdullah Al-Tayeb, Dr. Ahmed Al-Raidi, and Mr. ‎Nasser Mohammed Qasim. The team conducted a tour of classrooms, laboratories, ‎service facilities, and various components of the infrastructure. It also reviewed the ‎progress of the educational and research processes and identified key strengths and areas ‎for development that could serve as a basis for improvement during the next phase.‎

During the team’s meeting with Dr. Khaled Al-Khamaisi, Dean of the Faculty, the ‎participants discussed a number of issues related to institutional, academic, and ‎administrative performance and reviewed the efforts undertaken in the area of ‎development. They also discussed mechanisms for continuous improvement and ‎enhancing the quality of educational, research, and administrative services.‎

The Center’s team emphasized the need to continue developing institutional practices and ‎strengthening a culture of quality as a sustainable pathway for improving performance ‎and enhancing the efficiency of academic and administrative work, thereby enabling the ‎Faculty to meet quality assurance and accreditation requirements and achieve its ‎educational and research objectives.‎

The visit forms part of the ADQAC’s program for regularly monitoring and evaluating ‎the performance of the University’s faculties and providing the necessary support for ‎improvement initiatives, thereby enhancing the quality of the educational process and ‎improving the efficiency of Sana’a University’s academic outcomes.‎
