Sana’a University ADQAC Reviews Academic and Administrative Performance at Faculty of Mass Communication

A team from the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center (ADQAC) at Sana’a University conducted a field visit to the Faculty of Mass Communication to assess its academic and administrative performance and evaluate the readiness of its infrastructure and educational facilities in light of quality assurance and academic accreditation requirements.
The team comprised Dr. Mohammed Al-Mahbashi, Dr. Hussein Al-Ashwal, and Mr. Nasser Mohammed Qasim. The visit included a review of the educational and research processes and an inspection of classrooms, laboratories, service facilities, and infrastructure components. The team also reviewed positive practices and identified areas requiring further development and improvement.
The team met with Mahdi Haidar, Vice Dean for Quality Assurance; Dr. Hussein Aqabat, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs; and Mr. Khalid Al-Thawr, Faculty Secretary. The meeting addressed the level of institutional, academic, and administrative performance, monitoring and evaluation mechanisms, continuous improvement plans, and ways to enhance the quality of educational, research, and administrative processes.
The ADQAC team emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to develop institutional performance and consolidate quality practices across all aspects of academic and administrative work. Such efforts contribute to strengthening the Faculty’s capacity to fulfill its mission, achieve its objectives, and enhance the quality of its outcomes.
The visit forms part of the evaluation and monitoring program implemented by the ADQAC across Sana’a University’s faculties and centers, with the aim of supporting continuous improvement efforts, strengthening compliance with academic and institutional standards, and preparing for quality assurance and academic accreditation requirements.
