Field Evaluation of Performance Quality and ‎Infrastructure at Faculty of Physical Education

A team from the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center (ADQAC) at ‎Sana’a University conducted a field evaluation of the academic and administrative ‎performance of the Faculty of Physical Education, covering the progress of educational ‎and research activities and the readiness of its facilities and infrastructure. The evaluation ‎was carried out as part of the University’s regular monitoring program in accordance with ‎quality assurance and academic accreditation standards.‎

The team comprised Dr. Ahmed Al-Mujahid and Mr. Adel Al-Qubati. The evaluation ‎included a tour of classrooms, laboratories, service facilities, and infrastructure ‎components, as well as a review of the nature of academic and administrative operations, ‎with the aim of assessing the level of readiness, identifying needs, and determining ‎opportunities for improvement.‎

The team also met with Dr. Najib Saleh Juaim, Vice Dean for Quality Assurance; Mr. ‎Khalid Daer, Faculty Secretary; Dr. Bakil Al-Soufi, Head of the Practical Courses ‎Department; as well as the Faculty Registrar and Systems Manager. The meeting ‎reviewed the Faculty’s institutional performance, discussed the procedures followed in ‎managing the educational process, development and improvement plans, and mechanisms ‎for enhancing quality across the Faculty’s various areas of work.‎

The ADQAC team emphasized the importance of utilizing the findings of the field ‎evaluation to support development plans and strengthen practices that enhance academic ‎and administrative performance and contribute to providing an appropriate educational ‎environment in accordance with quality assurance and academic accreditation standards.‎

The visit forms part of a series of field visits conducted by the Center to monitor the ‎performance of Sana’a University’s faculties, assess their compliance with quality ‎standards, and support their efforts to address areas requiring improvement and develop ‎institutional performance, thereby contributing to the quality of education and the ‎University’s outcomes.‎
