Senior Horticulture Students Complete Field Training on Controlled-Environment Vegetable Production

Senior students in the Department of Horticulture Science and Its Techniques completed a practical field training session on controlled-environment vegetable production, supervised by Engineer Elham Arraf.
The hands-on training covered crop cultivation both inside and outside greenhouses—as well as inside low tunnels—focusing on modern management practices to optimize yields, improve crop quality, and build practical field expertise.
Organized by the Faculty of Agriculture, Food, and Environment, this initiative aligns with ongoing efforts to graduate qualified agricultural professionals ready to support the sector’s growth.
