Senior students in the Department of Animal Resources at the Faculty of Agriculture, Food, and Environment – Sana’a University completed a practical field exercise today for their Fish Production course. The session was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Fawzi Al-Sagheer and Ms. Amani Hassan.
The hands-on training covered identifying various fish species and examining their key distinguishing characteristics. Students also performed dissections to examine internal anatomy, organ structures, and their specific functions in detail.
Additionally, students studied species naming conventions, internal and external anatomical differences, and general traits for each type, bridging theoretical knowledge with practical application.
This field exercise reflects the department’s commitment to enhancing practical skills and deepening students’ knowledge in fish production and aquaculture.
