Dean's message

Faculty of Pharmacy

Praise be to Allah who taught Man with the pen that which he would not have known. And may His peace and mercy be upon His messenger Mohammed, the teacher of all humanity, and upon his family and companions.
Many are those people who do not truly understand the key role of pharmacists. In fact, they simply take pharmacists for being sellers of medicines which does not reflect of the reality. The pharmacist’s role would involve taking part with medical teams at hospitals throughout active engagement in serving patients. Accordingly, that requires a continual update of educational curricula particularly in Clinical and Hospital Pharmacy curriculums by developing the Pharmacy Doctor Program.
It goes without saying that successful foundation of any faculty of Pharmacy calls for sound academic and scientific planning in tandem with an update of curriculums in a way similar to those used in the most prestigious faculties of Pharmacy across the Arab regions and the world. In the Faculty of Pharmacy at Sana’a University, we spare no effort to establish an educational edifice standing tall and keeping pace with the latest global advances in Pharmaceutical education. The Faculty aims to provide the community with efficient pharmacists holding Bachelor Degrees in Pharmacy and Doctor of Pharmacy in order to occupy several positions in health sectors germane to medicine.
