Saba TV hosted assistant teacher Noha Ali Al-Durrah in a TV interview on the “Saba Sport” program, in an episode titled “Nutrition for Athletes.”
The episode discussed the importance of sports nutrition and its pivotal role in improving physical and athletic performance, as Noha Ali Al-Durra explained that proper nutrition represents one of the basic pillars for achieving athletic achievement and maintaining the health of athletes, in addition to regular training and adequate rest.
She also reviewed the most prominent nutrients that athletes need, and the importance of balancing carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins and minerals, in addition to the role of fluids in maintaining body hydration and compensating for loss during various sports activities.
