PhD Degree Awarded to Ms. Ghaidaa Salah in Physical Education

Ms. Ghaidaa Ismail Mutahar Salah was awarded a PhD degree in Physical Education for her dissertation titled: Administrative Governance and Its Relationship to the Level of Administrative Performance at the Ministry of Youth and Sports in the Republic of Yemen, which was submitted to the Department of Physical Education, Faculty of Physical Education –Sana’a University.
The dissertation defense was held on Thursday, June 25, 2026.
The PhD Viva-Voce Committee, which was formed based on a resolution issued by the Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Council, consisted of the following:

The dissertation aimed to examine the status of administrative governance and the level of administrative performance within the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and to investigate the nature of the relationship between them.
The study found a statistically significant positive correlation between the implementation of administrative governance principles and improved levels of administrative performance.
In light of these findings, the researcher recommended the following:

Strengthening the implementation of administrative governance principles within the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Updating the legislation and regulations governing administrative work.

Establishing an integrated database to support effective decision-making and institutional performance.

Qualifying and developing administrative personnel in accordance with the principles of efficiency, transparency, and accountability.
