As part of the implementation of the academic plan for the current semester, the final practical examination for the first-level volleyball course was conducted this morning in the gymnasium designated for practical activities.

The examination was held under the supervision of Dr. Wafi Shaddad Ali, the course instructor, and in the presence of several faculty members to monitor the examination process and ensure the application of approved academic standards.

The exam covered several key areas, including: serving, receiving, and setting skills, in addition to real-game scenarios to assess the students’ ability to apply their acquired skills during matches, Dr. Wafi Shaddad Ali affirmed that this examination aims to evaluate the practical and physical aspects of the students and to enhance their understanding of the game’s tactics.

He praised the outstanding level of performance and adherence to instructions demonstrated by the majority of the participants.

The students also expressed their appreciation for the support provided by the college, including the necessary facilities, a well-equipped gymnasium, and modern training equipment, which contributed to enhancing their practical competencies.

It is noteworthy that the College of Physical Education is committed to integrating theoretical knowledge with practical application across all its courses, thereby strengthening the professional capabilities of its students and qualifying them for the sports industry with professionalism.

As part of the educational and academic process at the Faculty of Physical Education, the final practical examination in swimming was conducted today for third- and fourth-level students, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Jaser and Dr. Ibrahim Ahmed Al-Sharafi.

The examination included an assessment of the students’ technical and practical skills across various swimming races and techniques, based on scientific standards designed to measure their comprehension of the course material and achievement of the intended learning outcomes.

The Faculty affirmed its commitment to administering practical examinations in a conducive learning environment, contributing to the enhancement of students’ competencies, preparing them professionally for the requirements of the field, and sustaining the Faculty’s distinction in academic programs and applied activities.

On Sunday, 01/03/1447 AH, corresponding to 24/08/2025 AD, the Faculty of Physical Education at Sana’a University held seminar sessions to discuss the graduation research proposals for its fourth-level students for the academic year 2024-2025. This event was held under the esteemed patronage of the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Dr. Abdulghani Mujahid Mutahar.

These sessions are designed to guide and mentor students through the initial stages of preparing their graduation research, which is a fundamental requirement for obtaining a bachelor’s degree. The discussions serve to refine the students’ research concepts, identify the problems their research will address, establish clear objectives, and select appropriate scientific methodologies.

The sessions, which took place in the faculty’s main hall, were attended by a notable gathering of faculty members and students. The student researchers presented their research proposals to specialized review committees. These committees provided valuable feedback and guidance intended to enrich the research and ensure its scientific integrity.

The proposed research topics covered a diverse and significant range of subjects within the field of physical education, reflecting the students’ awareness of the importance of scientific research in advancing the discipline and providing solutions to its challenges.

At the conclusion of the sessions, the Dean of the Faculty extended his gratitude to the students and their supervising professors. He urged them to exert all necessary efforts to produce research that befits the reputation of the students of the Faculty of Physical Education.
