Sana’a University ADQAC Reviews Performance and ‎Development Requirements at Faculty of Pharmacy

A team from the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center (ADQAC) at ‎Sana’a University today reviewed the academic and administrative performance at the ‎Faculty of Pharmacy during a field visit aimed at monitoring the progress of work and ‎discussing development needs and ways to enhance the quality of educational and ‎research activities.‎

The visit included a tour of several Faculty facilities, including classrooms, laboratories, ‎and service facilities. The team reviewed the extent to which available resources were ‎being utilized, the readiness of the educational environment and infrastructure, and their ‎contribution to supporting educational and research activities.‎

The Center’s visiting team comprised Dr. Khulood Al-Nasser, Dr. Hussein Al-Ashwal, ‎and Mr. Nasser Mohammed Qasim. During the visit, the team met with Dr. ‎Abdulwasea Ali Naji, Vice Dean for Quality Assurance; Mr. Sharaf Al-Mutawakkil, ‎Faculty Secretary; and the administrative officer.‎

The meeting addressed a number of aspects related to academic and administrative ‎performance, reviewed existing work mechanisms and development priorities for the next ‎phase, and discussed ways to strengthen the role of quality assurance in improving ‎institutional performance, enhancing the educational and research environment, and ‎increasing the efficiency of administrative services.‎

The meeting also highlighted the importance of documenting practices and developing ‎procedures in line with quality assurance and academic accreditation standards, as well as ‎strengthening mechanisms for continuous monitoring and evaluation of various aspects of ‎the Faculty’s operations.‎

The ADQAC team emphasized the importance of maintaining ongoing coordination and ‎direct communication between the Center and the University’s faculties. Such ‎coordination enables regular monitoring of performance, identification of development ‎needs, and provision of the necessary support to enhance the quality of academic and ‎administrative practices.‎

The visit forms part of the ADQAC’s activities aimed at supporting the University’s ‎faculties in their institutional and academic development efforts, strengthening direct ‎communication with them, and fostering a culture of quality and continuous ‎improvement.‎
