Faculty of Pharmacy at Sana’a University Welcomes Incoming Cohort for the 2026/2027 Academic Year

The Faculty of Pharmacy at Sana’a University welcomed its newly admitted freshman cohort for the academic year 2026/2027 during an orientation meeting organized to acclimate students to the academic environment, institutional rules, and university bylaws.
During the event, the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Dr. Mohammed Abbas Hameed Al-Deen, welcomed the incoming students. The meeting was attended by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Prof. Yahya Al-Dukhain; Vice Dean for Quality Assurance, Dr. Abdulwasea Al-Qadasi; Chair of the Department of Medicinal and Analytical Chemistry, Prof. Tawfiq Al-Obaidi; Faculty Registrar, Mr. Hussein Khasrouf; and the representative of the Student Forum, Qusai Al-Yaari.
The Dean delivered a welcoming address congratulating the students on joining the Faculty of Pharmacy, emphasizing that the Faculty stands as one of the premier academic institutions for pharmaceutical education in the Republic of Yemen. He highlighted that the institution is fully committed to providing an exceptional learning environment that prepares scientifically and professionally qualified pharmacists capable of meeting competitive market demands.
He further urged the students to demonstrate academic diligence, strictly observe university regulations, and leverage the scientific and technical resources provided by the Faculty, wishing them a university career marked by distinction.
The orientation session also included an overview introducing the freshers to the various departments, academic programs, and student services available, ensuring their smooth integration into university life from day one.
