*Department of Medicinal, Analytical, and Organic Chemistry at Sana’a University Faculty of Pharmacy Reviews Master’s Thesis Proposal for Sabaa Al-Haroosh*

The Department of Medicinal, Analytical, and Organic Chemistry at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Sana’a University, convened today to review and evaluate the Master’s thesis proposal submitted by researcher Sabaa Mohammed Naji Al-Haroosh.
The proposed research is titled:
“Development and Validation of a Hydrophilic Interaction Liquid Chromatographic (HILIC) Method for the Simultaneous Determination of Chlorpheniramine Maleate, Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide, Ephedrine Hydrochloride, and Guaifenesin in Quaternary Pharmaceutical Syrup Formulations.”
The study is being conducted under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Yahya Abdo Salem Al-Dokhain.
The review and evaluation committee comprised key academic leaders and faculty members, including:
• Prof. Tawfiq Al-Obaidi, Chair of the Department of Medicinal, Analytical, and Organic Chemistry
• Dr. Mohammed Al-Khawlani, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Graduate Studies
• Assoc. Prof. Yahya Abdo Salem Al-Dokhain, Supervisor
During the seminar, Ms. Al-Haroosh presented an overview of her research proposal, highlighting the study’s primary objectives, significance, methodology, theoretical framework, proposed hypotheses, and analytical instruments to be utilized in her research.
Following a thorough deliberation, the committee formally approved the research plan, commending the candidate’s efforts and highlighting the academic and practical importance of the study.
The session was attended by faculty members, graduate students, and interested researchers from across the faculty.
