Academic Integrity Committee at Faculty of Pharmacy Convenes First Meeting

SANA’A— The Academic Integrity Committee at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Sana’a University, convened its inaugural meeting for the 2026/2027 academic year. The meeting was presided over by Dr. Mohammed Abdulrahman Al-Khawlani, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Graduate Studies and Chair of the Committee, as part of the Faculty’s ongoing efforts to enhance quality assurance and graduate research standards.
Dr. Al-Khawlani welcomed the committee members and highlighted the pivotal role of the Academic Integrity Committee in upholding rigorous academic standards, ensuring the validity of scientific protocols, and fostering ethical practices in graduate research and theses.
The committee reviewed several core objectives, establishing its operational mechanisms and defining its scope of work. Key priorities include upgrading the quality of scientific publications, peer-reviewing research proposals in accordance with accredited academic benchmarks, and promoting absolute integrity in scientific inquiry.
To maintain consistent oversight, the Committee resolved to hold regular monthly meetings to review referred cases, evaluate research plans, and issue recommendations supporting the development of the graduate studies ecosystem.
