A team from the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center (ADQAC) at ‎Sana’a University conducted a field visit to the Faculty of Medicine and Health ‎Sciences on Tuesday morning as part of the Center’s periodic evaluation program for ‎monitoring academic and administrative performance across the University’s faculties and ‎assessing the readiness of their infrastructure and its compliance with quality assurance ‎and academic accreditation standards.‎

The visiting team comprised Dr. Abdulkhaleq Al-Dhubyani, Dr. Houria Al-Sabri, and ‎Mr. Adel Al-Qubati. The team toured the Faculty to review its academic and research ‎activities and inspect classrooms, laboratories, service facilities, and other infrastructure ‎components, with a view to assessing their compliance with approved academic standards ‎and identifying strengths and potential areas for improvement.‎

The team also met with the Faculty’s leadership at a meeting attended by Dr. Ahmed ‎Mujahid, Vice Dean for Quality Affairs, representing the Graduate Studies ‎administration and the Faculty Secretariat. The meeting reviewed institutional, academic, ‎and administrative performance indicators and discussed future development plans and ‎mechanisms for enhancing the quality of educational, research, and administrative ‎activities at the Faculty.‎

The ADQAC team emphasized the need to continue fostering a culture of comprehensive ‎quality throughout the University and strengthening institutional practices that support ‎performance improvement and the enhancement of academic and administrative services. ‎Such efforts will enable the Faculty to fulfill its mission and strategic objectives and meet ‎quality assurance and academic accreditation requirements.‎

The visit forms part of the ADQAC’s overall plan to periodically monitor the ‎performance of Sana’a University’s faculties and centers, support continuous ‎improvement efforts, and reinforce institutional practices aligned with quality standards, ‎thereby contributing to improved academic and administrative performance and enhanced ‎quality of the University’s educational outcomes.‎
