Summary:

I’m an Associate Professor and I am currently the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, Faculty of Languages. My major is English Literature. I started teaching at Sana’a University in 1996 as a demonstrator, and during this long period, I have sought to bring about a radical change and to pursue innovative educational methods that would achieve knowledge and culture and, at the same time, develop the students’ intellectual and cognitive skills. My academic interests include English language and literature in addition to the field of translation. I was the first to head the Department of Translation at the Faculty of Languages in 2013 and I had the academic honor to establish and work on its success as the first academic department in the field at the level of all public and private universities in the Republic of Yemen at the time.
