Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Council at Sana’a University Held Its 4th Meeting for Academic Year 1446 Hijri (2024/2025)

The Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Council at Sana’a University held its fourth periodic meeting for the academic year 1446 Hijri (2024/2025). Prof. Ibrahim Ghaleb Luqman, Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, presided over the meeting. Attendees included Vice Deans for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research from various faculties and representatives from scientific and research centers.
During the meeting, the council completed the review of the Master’s program in Clinical Psychology at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. It also approved the list of courses for the Improvement Diploma. This remedial program was designed for those students who obtained a ‘Pass Grade’ in the Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and wish to pursue a Master’s degree starting from the academic year 2024-2025.
The council further discussed the possibility and conditions for holders of an MBA to enroll in the PhD program in Economics at the Economic and Financial Studies and Research Center.
Moreover, the council approved the titles of several PhD dissertations and Master’s theses across various specializations in colleges and research centers. It also approved the results of Viva Voce sessions for several doctoral dissertations and master’s theses from different colleges and research centers.
The council also approved the students’ results in various programs including (Diplomas, Level Improvement Programs, and Preliminary Master’s Diplomas).
The meeting concluded with the approval of several internal scholarships for assistants and teachers from various disciplines to pursue Master’s and doctoral degrees. It began, however, with a review and subsequent approval of the minutes from the previous council meeting.
