These accomplishments are the culmination of efforts that included the academic specifications of more than 300 programs and over 7,000 courses, along with continuous improvement in the eight accreditation standards.
The meeting discussed the mechanisms for accomplishing institutional and programmatic evaluations across the various departments of the faculties, as well as the financial and administrative requirements necessary to accomplish these tasks within the specified timeframe. The meeting also addressed academic specifications in the field of graduate studies and emphasized the regularity of the university academic calendar, stressing strict adherence to the University Council’s decision in this regard.
The University Rector, Prof. Al-Kasim Abass, urged a swift commencement of work using the electronic application for graduate studies, beginning next week, and emphasized the printing of university publications through the University Publishing House. He stated, “The university will cover the costs of authorship, provided that the university textbook is printed through the University Publishing House and distributed to students at cost price, with a grace period for faculties of one full semester to complete the printing of the university textbook.” The University Rector directed the rapid distribution of the evaluation questionnaire to faculty members electronically. |
It is worth noting that Sana’a University has taken significant steps and achieved great accomplishments in the academic, institutional, and programmatic fields over the past five years, including obtaining national academic accreditation, international accreditation in some medical specialties, and its ongoing pursuit of international accreditation in the remaining medical specialties.
