Sana’a University Council Approves Textbook Printing and New Doctoral Programs
Sana’a, Yemen – In its second meeting of the 1446 Hijri academic year, Sana’a University Council, chaired by the Rector Prof. Al-Kasem Mohammad Abass and attended by the University vice-rectors, assistants, and faculty deans, approved the printing of undergraduate textbooks across all University faculties through the University of Sana’a Publishing House.
Additionally, the Council approved new doctoral programs in the Faculty of Dentistry, including Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry, Orthodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, Oral Medicine, and Periodontology, as well as prosthodontics.
The Council also granted PhD degrees to 23 students, Master’s degrees to 25 students, and diploma certificates to 12 students in various fields of study. The meeting addressed several academic issues related to faculty affairs, student matters, graduate studies, and research, making appropriate decisions on these topics.
