The doctoral researcher / Sultan Yahya Hussein Mohsen Al-Sultan obtained a doctorate degree in the Department of (Information Technology) specializing in (Computing and Information Technology) College of (Computer) at Sana’a University for his thesis entitled (A smart approach to analyzing customer exit from the banking sector) on Thursday, Safar 11, 1446 AH, corresponding to 8/15/2024 AD. The discussion and judgment committee consisted of Professor Dr. (Bashir Muhammad Al-Maqalih) as Chairman of the Committee and External Examiner, Professor Dr. (Sharaf Abdul Haq Al-Hamdi) as Internal Examiner and Member of the Committee, and Associate Professor (Ibrahim Ahmed Al-Balta) as Supervisor and Member of the Committee. The thesis aimed to adopt the application of this smart approach in prediction on the data of Yemeni bank customers. The thesis reached a number of results, the most important of which is that the mathematical model that was presented has clearly improved the results of the study. The researcher presented a number of recommendations, including paying attention to customers as the basic building block for raising the economies of countries and their sophistication, in addition to the fact that various financial institutions, especially banks, must benefit from artificial intelligence technologies to reduce the phenomenon of customer exit. The discussion was attended by a number of academics, researchers, students, interested parties, and a number of the researcher’s colleagues and family members.
