Public PhD Viva-Voice Examination of Ms. Haleema Mohammed Abdu Ahmed Aldrooby
The Public Viva-Voice Examination for the PhD Dissertation hereto entitled: ” The Effectiveness of an Enrichment Program on Developing Social Responsibility Concepts Among Third-cycle Students of Primary Education in the Republic of Yemen and their Attitudes Towards It”, submitted by Ms. Haleema Mohammed Abdu Ahmed Aldrooby Department of Social Sciences (Curricula and Methods of Teaching Social Sciences) , Faculty of Education –Sana’a, was held on Wednesday, 22/03/1446 Hijri corresponding to 25/9/2024. The Viva-Voce Committee, which was formed based on a resolution issued by the Post-Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Council, consisted of the following:

The study aimed at:-
The study aimed at finding out the extent of the effectiveness of an enrichment program on developing social responsibility concepts among third-cycle students of primary education in the Republic of Yemen and their attitudes towards it.
The study concluded that the effect size of the enrichment program on developing social responsibility concepts is very big as whole and its fields (self-responsibility, family responsibility, responsibility towards the society, environmental responsibility, and the national responsibility) in the two experimental groups.
.
Many recommendations were suggested as: social responsibility concepts should be included in the textbooks of the social studies gradually in the different classes/levels. It also recommended the necessity for paying attention to enrichment programmes and teachers’ familiarity with effective educational methods that enhance social responsibility among students and encourage them to practice it towards their families, country, environment, society and Islamic nation more.
