The Public Viva-Voice Examination for the PhD Dissertation here to entitled: ” The Effectiveness of a Training Program Based on the SWOM Model in Developing Creative Teaching Skills and Self-efficacy Among Students of the Islamic Studies Curricula Department, Sana’a University, and their Attitudes Towards the Teaching Profession.”, submitted by Mr. Abdulrahman Qaid Abdullah Alyosefi Department of Islamic Studies (Curricula and Methods of Teaching Islamic Studies) , Faculty of Education –Sana’a, was held on……….., 18/04/1446 Hijri corresponding to 21/10/2024. The study aimed at identifying the effectiveness of a training program based on the SWOM model in developing creative teaching skills and self-efficacy among students of the Islamic Studies Curricula Department, Sana’a University, and their attitudes towards the teaching profession.
The study concluded a number of findings as: coming up with a list of creative teaching skills necessary for student teachers, building a training program based on the SWOM model consisting of five modules, and this proved an effectiveness in developing teaching and creativity skills, developing self-efficacy among student teachers, and developing positive attitudes toward the teaching profession..
Many recommendations were suggested as: the necessity of circulating the program and identifying the training needs of Islamic education teachers, in addition to developing teacher preparation programs to include modern teaching strategies..
A number of academics, the department head, some researchers, students, interested people, and a number of the candidates’ colleagues and family members attended the viva.
