Youth and Sports Minister, Sana’a University Rector Visit University Indoor Gymnasium

Youth and Sports Minister Dr. Mohammed Ali Al-Mawllad and Sana’a University Rector Prof. Al-Kasem Mohammed Abass visited the university’s indoor gymnasium today. Construction on the facility, funded by the Ministry’s Youth and Sports Fund, was halted in 2011.
During their visit, the officials reviewed the progress of the indoor gymnasium project and discussed plans for its completion and the turfing of the University’s football field. Minister Al-Mawllad emphasized the importance of prioritizing the gymnasium’s completion in 2025 to support the University’s athletic programs and provide a venue for national sports federations and teams. Prof. Abass highlighted the importance of sports in promoting the University’s position in international rankings and the significant role that sports activities play in talent development. During the visit, the Minister and the University Rector were accompanied by other officials from the Ministry and University.
