Public MA Viva-Voice Examination of Mr. Ali Abdullah Mohammed Alhaid
The Public Viva-Voice Examination for the MA Thesis hereto entitled: ” Yemeni Dialects Mentioned in Holy Qura’an and Their Effect on Interpretation”, submitted by Mr. Ali Abdullah Mohammed Alhaid Department of Holy Quran and Its Sciences, Faculty of Education –Sana’a, Sana’a University, was held on Monday, 10/05/1446 Hijri corresponding to 11/11/2024. The Viva-Voce Committee, which was formed based on a resolution issued by the Post-Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Council, consisted of the following:

The study aimed at: monitoring the Yemeni Dialects mentioned in the Holy Qura’an, investigating their sources, showing interpreters” attention in it, and elaborating their impact on Holy Qura’an Interpretation,
The study concluded a set of findings as:
The study included 246 issues in total in in the agreement of both Immams or one of them, Both Immams Almawardi have agreed upon 189 issues, Immam Aldailami has agreed upon on 20 issues alone; Immam Almawardi has agreed upon 46 issues alone. Both the two Immams paid attention to presenting the frequent and the irregular Qura’anic Readings and directing them without any indication that they are frequent and regular. The two Immams paid attention to the reasons for the revelation of verses. They have agreed in their mention of the reasons for the revelation of verses, although there difference in style. The two Immams in their interpretations depended on the language as one principle of the principles of interpretation.

A number of academics, Dr. Mohammed Sena’a Vice Rector of Mahweet University, youth pioneer in the College of Education Almahweet-Dr. Najeeb Albana’a, the Holy Qura’an Department Head, some researchers, students, interested people, and a number of the candidates’ colleagues and family members attended the viva.
The MA Thesis has been examined and is recommended by the Viva-Voice Committee for acceptance and approval. The Candidate was recommended to be awarded the degree of Master in Holy Quran and Its Sciences majoring in Tafsir and Holy Quara’an Sciences(Interpretation),, with an overall grade of Excellent 95%.
