University Council Approves Opening of Aeronautical Engineering and Space Sciences Department

Sana’a University Council, chaired by Prof. Al-Kasem Mohammed Abass, the University Rector, approved the establishment of a new Aeronautical Engineering and Space Sciences Department within the Faculty of Engineering. This decision was made during the council’s fifth regular meeting for the academic year 1446 Hijri, (2024/2025).
In addition, the council validated the master’s degree results for 27 students and approved doctoral degrees for 18 students across various faculties and centers.
During the meeting, which was attended by the university’s vice-rectors, rector’s assistants, and deans, a number of academic matters were discussed, including the appointment, regularization, and promotion of faculty members. The council also addressed student affairs, graduate studies, and center-related issues, taking appropriate decisions.
Furthermore, the council approved the undergraduate results submitted by the Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Faculty of Education (Arhab), Faculty of Science, and the Computer Center.
At the beginning of the meeting, the council reviewed and approved the minutes of its previous session.
