Public MA Viva-Voice Examination of Ms. Ebtesam Ali Rashed Saleh Alqademi
The Public Viva-Voice Examination for the MA Thesis hereto entitled: ” Psychological stress and its relationship to some life skills among students at Sana’a University “, submitted by Ms. Ebtesam Ali Rashed Saleh Alqademi Department of Educational Psychology, Faculty of Education –Sana’a, was held on Tuesday, 23/05/1446 Hijri corresponding to 24/12/2024. The Viva-Voce Committee, which was formed based on a resolution issued by the Post-Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Council, consisted of the following:

The study aimed at
- Clarifying (the relationship between psychological stress and some life skills among students at Sana’a University).and the level of psychological stress and life skills among Sanaa University students.
- Revealing differences in the level of the psychological stress and the life skills according to the variable of gender and specialization.
The study concluded a number of results as: there is an inverse correlation that is not statistically significant at the overall level and at the level of creative thinking and confronting pressure dimensions. There is no statistically significant inverse correlation in the dimensions of problem solving, decision making, and social communication. But, there is a significant inverse correlation in the dimension of assuming responsibility.
The study provided a number of recommendations as: focusing on the importance of life skills among Sana’a University students to alleviate the psychological stress. Providing psychological support services by establishing counselling centers at the university to provide the psychological support services to students.
The MA thesis has been examined and is recommended by the Viva-Voce Committee for acceptance and approval. The Candidate was recommended to be awarded the degree of Master Degree majoring in Educational and Psychological Guidance with an overall grade of Excellent 95%.
