Sana’a University Emphasizes Student Well-being with New Health Insurance Initiative

The sixth regular meeting for website and social media platform administrators was held today under the patronage of Prof. Al-Kasem Mohammed Abbas, Sana’a University’s Rector.
The meeting was chaired by Mr. Adel Al-Hababi, the Rector’s Assistant for Media Affairs, who emphasized the significance of the recent decision by the Sana’a University Council to provide health insurance for all enrolled students, stating that it reflects the University’s commitment to the well-being of its students. “This initiative not only provides essential health coverage but also underscores the university’s dedication to creating a supportive and nurturing learning environment,” said Mr. Al-Hababi.
During the session, which included representatives from various college and center social media teams, the progress reports on the performance of the university’s online platforms and social media channels for December 2023 were reviewed. Attendees discussed strategies to further enhance the university’s digital presence in the new year of 2025, including the use of social media to promote the new health insurance program and other university initiatives. By leveraging its digital platforms, Sana’a University aims to keep students, faculty, staff, and the broader community informed about its activities and achievements. Additionally, several proposals were discussed to enhance university media efforts in the new year of 2025 and to utilize the media services provided by college and center platforms in preparation for the final exams scheduled for the upcoming month of Sha’ban 1446 AH.
