Public MA Viva-Voice Examination of Ms. Musheera Abdullah Muhsen Alotomi
The Public Viva-Voice Examination for the MA Thesis hereto entitled: “The Level of Administration by Exception Practice and Its Relationship to the Features of Transformational Leadership Among the Principals of Public Education Schools in the Capital, Sana’a”, submitted by Ms. Musheera Abdullah Muhsen Alotomi Department of Educational Planning and Administration, Faculty of Education –Sana’a, was held on Saturday, 04/07/1446 Hijri corresponding to 04/01/2024. The Viva-Voce Committee, which was formed based on a resolution issued by the Post-Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Council, consisted of the following:

The study aimed at identifying the level of administration by exception practice and its relationship to the features of transformational leadership among the principals of public education schools in the capital, Sana’a from the administrative and teachers’ point of view From the administrative and teachers’ point of view, by identifying the level of degree of practice of administration by exception dimensions from the point of view of the sample members, and identifying whether there is a statistically significant correlation at level (0.05) between the practice of administration by exception and the degree of availability of transformational leadership features among the principals of public education schools in the capital, Sana’a.
The study concluded a set of results as: the level of practice of management by exception includes its dimensions (determining authorities and responsibilities, delegating authority, effective communication, and evaluating performance) came with an average of (3.50). In verbal terms (high) degree. And the degree of availability of transformational leadership traits among public education school principals in their dimensions (ideal influence, inspirational motivation, individual considerations, and intellectual stimulation) came with an average of (3.44). In verbal terms (high) degree.

Many recommendations were suggested as granting greater power to principals – in all administrative aspects – to enable them to apply modern leadership methods, diversify the use of performance evaluation methods, and develop appropriate procedures to address deviations and ensure the effectiveness of the educational process, in addition to proposals for future studies on the subject.
A number of academics, the department head, some researchers, students, interested people, and a number of the candidates’ colleagues and family members attended the viva.
The MA thesis has been examined and is recommended by the Viva-Voce Committee for acceptance and approval. The Candidate was recommended to be awarded the degree of Master Degree majoring in Educational Planning and Administration
