On January 11, 2025 (11 Rajab 1446 AH), Adela Abdul-Wadod Raweh successfully defended her master’s thesis in the Department of International Development at the Inclusive Development Research Center, University of Sana’a. The thesis, titled “The Effectiveness of the Social and Psychosocial Support Program in Developing Creative Thinking Among Primary School Students in the Capital City of Sana’a,” was evaluated by a committeee comprising:
- Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim Al-Sanea as an external examiner and member,

Prof. Dr. Azhar Muhammad Ghalioun as an Internal examiner and chair of the committee,

Dr. Abdul-Wahhab Yahya Abdul-Qader as a supervisor and member of the committee.
The thesis aimed to examine the effectiveness of a psychosocial support program in enhancing creative thinking among basic stage students in schools in Sana’a during the academic year 2024–2025.
The study yielded significant results, notably a statistically significant difference at a 0.05 significance level between the pre-test and post-test results for the study group in the overall creative thinking test and each individual skill, favoring the post-test results. The student recommended developing basic stage curricula to include diverse activities aimed at fostering creative thinking skills in students.
The defense was attended by a diverse audience, including academics, researchers, students, and interested parties, as well as colleagues and family members of the researcher.
