Public MA Viva-Voice Examination of Ms. Thuraiya Abdullah Mohammed Abdullah Alazazi
The Public Viva-Voice Examination for the MA Thesis hereto entitled: ” Nafais Al-Jawahir Al-Hessan Al-Bahiyya in Explaining the Secrets of the Meanings of Qur’anic Verses by the scholar Al-Hasan bin Ibrahim Al-Khatib Al-Zubaidi Al-Yamani, who died in the year (1265 AH) (Surat Yunus – A Study and Investigation) “, submitted by Ms. Thuraiya Abdullah Mohammed Abdullah Alazazi Department of Holy Quran and Its Sciences, Faculty of Education –Sana’a, Sana’a University, was held on Thursday, 02/07/1446 Hijri corresponding to 02/01/2025. The Viva-Voice Committee, which was formed based on a resolution issued by the Post-Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Council, consisted of the following:

The study aimed at examining Surat Yunus from the beginning of the surah to its end, stating and discussing the author’s opinions.
The study concluded a set of findings as: The author of the book was one of the established and virtuous scholars and taught jurisprudence to a group of Yemeni scholars. 2- Tafsir Nafi’is al-Jawahir al-Hesan is one of the most creative interpretations in which its author relied on a group of interpretations, including Mafatih al-Ghayb by al-Razi. 3- The interpretation combined interpretation with tradition and praiseworthy opinion, and its author exposed jokes in it. And kindness and benefits.
Many recommendations were suggested as: collecting jurisprudential and doctrinal issues in interpretation and comparing them with interpretations of the verses of rulings. 2- It suggests this interpretation for introductory year students in the master’s degree because it contains many benefits and niceties.
A number of academics, the department head, some researchers, students, interested people, and a number of the candidates’ colleagues and family members attended the viva.
The MA Thesis has been examined and is recommended by the Viva-Voice Committee for acceptance and approval. The Candidate was recommended to be awarded the degree of Master in Holy Quran and Its Sciences majoring in Tafsir (Interpretation),, with an overall grade of Excellent 95%.
