Sana’a University’s Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Celebrates the Graduation of its First Batch
Under the patronage of Sana’a University Rector, Prof. Al-Kasem Mohammed Abbas, and the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, Prof. Radwan Al-Rubaee, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Sana’a University held a graduation ceremony for its first class on Saturday, January 25, 2025.
At the ceremony, the Minister emphasized that the veterinary profession is an important tributary to the national economy and a major enhancer of food security in the Republic of Yemen.
Minister Al-Rubaee urged the graduates to work with honesty and dedication, wishing them success and distinction.
For his part, the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Abdulraouf Al-Shawakani, pointed to the importance of veterinarians in protecting public health, as they represent the first line of defense for humans against zoonotic diseases.
The ceremony, attended by faculty members and the families of the graduates, included several artistic and scientific performances.
Top-performing students were honored and presented with veterinary kits.
