Discussion of Annual Progress Reports on Sana’a University’s Websites and Social Media

Under the patronage of the University Rector, Prof. Al-Kasem Mohammed Abbas, Sana’a University held its fifth periodic meeting of website and social media administrators today. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Adel Al-Hababi, the Rector’s Assistant for Media Affairs. During the meeting, discussions focused on reviewing the annual progress reports for 2024, presented by those in charge of managing the websites of the faculties and centers at the university. These reports covered uploaded regulations, guides, and programs, as well as news published on the university’s websites and social media over the past year.
During the meeting held at the Public Administration Center in the Faculty of Commerce and Economics, Mr. Al-Hababi emphasized the need to complete the publication of any remaining materials, stressing the need for keeping university websites updated with news on academic activities and events while showcasing the unique features of the university’s faculties and centers. He also highlighted the urgency of publishing this content in both Arabic and English to support the university’s international ranking.
Additionally, Al-Hababi urged attendees to prepare for the upcoming academic year by effectively promoting the university’s faculties, research centers, and academic programs. This would help prospective students explore the distinctive offerings of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, enabling them to make well-informed decisions about joining Sana’a University programs. He also highlighted the numerous advantages Sana’a University offers that may not be available at many other universities.
