Researcher Amal Al-Nu’mani has obtained a master’s degree with honors.

Her thesis, titled “The Use of Non-Governmental Organizations of Digital Platforms and Social Media Sites and their Relationship to the Relief Needs of the Targeted Groups”, was discussed on 30 Jumada Al-Akhira 1446 AH, corresponding to December 31, 2024.
The discussion committee consisted of Dr. Saleh Hamid as chairman and member, Dr. Ali Al-Hawri as external examiner and chairman, and Dr. Abdullah Al-Zalab as internal examiner and member.
The thesis aimed to investigate the success of non-governmental organizations in using digital platforms and social media sites to meet the relief needs of targeted groups.
The thesis reached several conclusions, including the limited use of available forms and technologies on Facebook and Twitter in non-governmental organizations working in the relief and development field.
The researcher presented several recommendations, including the need to expand the use of technologies available on social media, employ specialized personnel, and develop websites.
Several academics, researchers, students, and colleagues attended the discussion.
