Relationship Between Jarabak’s Analysis Elements and Facial Profile for Yemeni Samples

The study aims at evaluating the relationship between Jarabak’s cephalometric parameters and facial variation among Yemeni adults.
The study comes out with some results as follows: The articular angle significantly influence on the convex facial profile and should be carefully considered during treatment planning. The study provides region-specific cephalometric data that may aid orthodontic diagnosis and treatment planning particularly for Yemeni and similar ethnic population.
The researcher presents a number of recommendations at the end of this Master’s thesis, of which: There should exist an intensive study for the entire region in Yemen using the 3D photography and taking in consideration the family historical aspect; this would help understanding the facial profile by cases of the Yemeni origin.
Attendees of the viva session were a number of academics, researchers, students of the major, the researcher’s colleagues and some of family members.
