Inaugurating SAR System for Postgraduate Studies at Sana’a University

Prof. Al-Kasem Mohammed Abbas, Sana’a University Rector, inaugurated the electronic Students’ Academic Records System (SAR) for postgraduate studies at the University. This comes as a continuation of the University’s automation efforts. The SAR system provides services and facilitates student applications electronically without requiring their physical presence. It also includes student data entered as per the minutes of the Department Council and Postgraduate Studies Council in the faculties and centers, as well as the Faculty Councils and the University Council. Through this system, students can review their data and ensure its accuracy, as well as track their applications electronically through a dedicated application.
During the launch event, the University Rector emphasized that this step translates the university’s endeavor to end student suffering, save time and effort, and eliminate the routine of applications that require considerable time from postgraduate students.
The inauguration session was attended by the Assistant Vice-Rector for Postgraduate Studies, Prof. Huda Al-Emad; the Director of the Information Technology Center at the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Fouad Abdulrazzaq; the Rector’s Assistant for Media Affairs, Mr. Adel Al-Hababi; the General Director of Information Systems at the University, Mr. Mohammed Shams Al-Deen; and specialists from the information systems and postgraduate studies departments at the University.
