Master’s Degree for Researcher Maeen Ahmed Mahyoub in Educational Administration and Planning, Faculty of Education

Maeen Ahmed Mahyoub Al-Hawshabi earned her Master’s degree with honors and a grade of 95% from the Faculty of Education, Sana’a University, for her thesis entitled “The Level of Applying the Dimensions of the Learning Organization and its Relationship to Collective Intelligence in Gifted Schools in the Republic of Yemen”.
The Viva took place on Wednesday, 19 Ramadan 1446 AH, corresponding to March 19, 2025 AD.
The Viva discussion and judgment committee consisted of:
* Professor Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Humaid, external examiner, Hajjah University, chairperson.
* Associate Professor Ali Yahya Sharaf al-Din, main supervisor, Sana’a University, a member.
* Assistant Professor Mohammed Ali Al-Shami, internal examiner, Sana’a University, a member.
The study aimed to identify the level of applying the dimensions of the learning organization and its relationship to collective intelligence in gifted schools in the Republic of Yemen from the perspectives of administrators and teachers.
The study revealed a number of results, most notably:
* That the level of applying the dimensions of the learning organization in gifted schools in the Republic of Yemen is high, where the dimension of collective learning and team-work came in first place, followed by the dimension of supportive strategic leadership in second place, in third place came the dimension of knowledge sharing and learning, in fourth place came the dimension of linking the school to the external environment, and in fifth place came the dimension of continuous learning, in sixth place came the dimension of dialogue and inquiry, and finally in seventh place came the dimension of shared vision.
The study came out with a number of recommendations, encouraging the relevant authorities to prioritize the importance of involving workers in setting, implementing, and developing the future vision, and providing a suitable climate for the culture of empowerment. And the use of modern communication tools such as emails, text messages, and others to facilitate the dialogue process, generalize the culture of raising questions, presenting proposals and building partnerships with local community institutions and cooperating with them in supporting school and social activities. In addition to the importance of strengthening teamwork by organizing group activities and organizing regular meetings to exchange ideas about developments and enhance the spirit of cooperation.
The Viva discussion was attended by a number of academics, researchers, interested individuals, and a number of the researcher’s colleagues and family members.
