University Rector Commends the Faculty of Dentistry During Inspection Visit

On Thursday, Prof. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bukhaiti, Sana’a University Rector, conducted a visit to the Faculty of Dentistry to inspect its facilities and evaluate ongoing academic and administrative work progress.
Accompanied by Prof. Ibrahim Al-Mutaa, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Al-Bukhaiti toured the faculty’s laboratories and medical clinics, reviewing the educational workflow, technical systems, and infrastructure. He affirmed that the faculty’s resources and operational standards align well with national and international accreditation standards.
During the visit, Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Rami Abdulrahman Ishaq, and Faculty Secretary, Mr. Yahya Al-Shareef, provided a comprehensive overview of the faculty’s performance. The briefing included updates on key scientific labs including computer labs, anatomy, gypsum modeling, microbiology, and the advisory clinic—which is in the final stages of preparation—alongside postgraduate research lab enhancements and the additional clinics that are part of the faculty’s expansion plans.
Prof. Al-Bukhaiti praised the significant advancements and reforms taking place across the university, particularly within the medical faculties. He noted that these faculties produce highly competent graduates well-equipped with the required knowledge and skills to meet contemporary challenges and labor market demands.
He also stressed the importance of completing the preparation of the faculty’s visual identity and showcasing its distinguished academic, infrastructural, technical, and administrative capacities, with which it can rival leading international universities.
Finally, the University Rector called on the faculty’s leadership and staff to intensify their efforts, speed up preparations for the upcoming academic year, address any existing gaps, and make optimal use of the great resources at their disposal.
