Sana’a University Concludes 2nd Scientific Conference for Graduation Projects at the Faculty of Science

The Faculty of Science at Sana’a University has successfully concluded its 2nd scientific conference dedicated to graduation projects. The event, held under the patronage of Prof. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bukhaiti, the University Rector, witnessed broad participation from students and researchers across all departments. A diverse range of distinguished research papers and projects were presented, reflecting the high level of creativity and scientific thinking among the Faculty of Science students.
During the closing ceremony, the University Rector expressed his deep appreciation for being among the leading scholars and experts at the Faculty of Science. He emphasized the significance of scientific research and the need to encourage students to pursue their academic journeys, underscoring the importance of providing the necessary resources to help them develop innovative solutions to pressing societal issues.
For his part, Dean of the Faculty of Science, Prof. Mohammed Saleh Qusaila, praised the university leadership’s support for the conference and its interest in student-led scientific initiatives that are essential to achieving academic excellence.
Organizers and participants—including faculty and students—highlighted the importance of investing in scientific research and fostering a culture of innovation among students to produce impactful, community-driven solutions. They expressed their gratitude for having this opportunity to present their research, noting that the conference helped sharpen their skills and opened new avenues for both academic and professional development.
The closing ceremony included a session for honoring faculty members who supervised the graduation projects, as well as recognizing students who submitted exceptional research across various scientific disciplines.
The event was attended by Dr. Abdulmalik Eisa, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Dr. Fuad Al-Mahatwari, Director of the Science and Technology Center, Vice Deans of the Faculty of Science, department heads, faculty members, administrative staff, and a large number of students.
