Sana’a University Rector Visits Faculty of Pharmacy, Emphasizes Institutional Development

Sana’a University Rector, Prof. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bukhaiti, visited the Faculty of Pharmacy today to assess academic and administrative performance. Accompanied by the Rector’s Assistant for Media Affairs, Mr. Adel Al-Hababi, Prof. Al-Bukhaiti reviewed the faculty’s educational process, infrastructure, and ongoing challenges.
During his visit, the Rector stressed the urgent need for an action plan to improve infrastructure and services across the faculty. He emphasized the importance of coordination between the faculty and service departments to ensure effective maintenance, cleanliness, and environmental planning. Prof. Al-Bukhaiti commended the efforts of the faculty’s leadership and faculty members, urging them to foster teamwork and collaboration to enhance performance and achieve the university’s goals of academic excellence.
He highlighted that the visit was part of a comprehensive plan to evaluate performance across all university faculties, identify needs, and implement practical solutions to improve education quality and services, ultimately enhancing Sana’a University’s standing as a national academic institution.
Prof. Al-Bukhaiti affirmed the university’s commitment to comprehensive institutional reform based on efficiency, transparency, and teamwork. He stressed that success depends on the commitment and continuous follow-up from all university members. He also engaged with the faculty leadership, department heads, and faculty members, listening to suggestions and addressing concerns related to improving performance and the educational environment.
Concluding his visit, Prof. Al-Bukhaiti directed the formation of a joint team of engineers and faculty members to assess the condition of the faculty’s laboratories and submit a comprehensive report detailing equipment needs within one week. This assessment will pave the way for laboratory renovations before the start of the new academic year in 1447 AH.
