Sana’a University Academic Council Holds 11th Meeting, Approves Promotions and Addresses Academic Issues

The Sana’a University Academic Council held its 11th regular meeting for the academic year 1446 AH (2024/2025) today. The session was presided over by Prof. Ibrahim Ahmed Al-Mutaa, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Chairperson of the Council, with the attendance of council members from various university faculties.
The meeting began with a discussion of the agenda items, including the approval of the minutes from the previous meeting and a review of several academic files slated for discussion.
During the session, the council approved four academic promotions for faculty members and six employment status adjustments, in addition to approving the permanent appointment of two faculty members.
The meeting also addressed several issues related to the progress of the educational process and academic performance across the university’s faculties. Appropriate decisions were made to enhance the quality of higher education and keep pace with the demands of academic development.
