University Council Approves Two New Diploma Programs in Computer Science and Endorses Graduation Lists Across Multiple Faculties

The University Council of Sana’a University held an extraordinary meeting today at the university’s main headquarters in Sana’a, chaired by University Rector Prof. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bukhaiti. During the meeting, the Council approved the launch of two newly introduced diploma programs: a Diploma in Information Technology and a Diploma in Artificial Intelligence. Both programs span two years and will be offered through the university’s Computer Center.
Additionally, the Council validated the graduation lists for students from the following Faculties: Faculty of Computer and Information Technology, Faculty of Sharia and Law, Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment, Faculty of Mass Communication, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Education – Arhab, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Education – Khawlan, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, and Faculty of Physical Education, along with graduates from the Computer Center.
Speaking to the university’s official website, Prof. Al-Bukhaiti noted that “the launch of these diploma programs addresses the increasing demand in the labor market for these essential fields and reflects the university’s ongoing efforts to contribute to national development by preparing skilled professionals equipped with the needed skills to meet the challenges of rapid technological advancements.”
He further stated that the approval of the graduation lists marks the successful culmination of the hard work of both students and faculty staff and demonstrates the university’s dedication to maintaining an organized academic framework and delivering high-quality educational outcomes.
