PhD Degree Awarded to Mr. Saleh Al-Halhali in Educational Administration

Mr. Saleh Abdu Mohammed Amer Al-Halhali was awarded a PhD degree in Educational Administration for his dissertation titled: The Impact of Strategic Flexibility on the Relationship Between Entrepreneurial Orientation and Sustainable Institutional Excellence in Private Community Colleges in the Republic of Yemen, which was submitted to the Department of Educational Administration and Planning, Faculty of Education, Sana’a University. The PhD dissertation defense was held on Saturday, July 5, 2025.
The PhD Viva-Voce Committee, which was formed based on a resolution issued by the Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Council, consisted of the following:

The study aimed to analyze the impact of strategic flexibility on the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and sustainable institutional excellence within private community colleges in Yemen. The modeling results confirmed an indirect (mediated) impact of strategic flexibility on the relationship, with a total impact value of (β = 0.27).
The dissertation recommended adopting supportive policies for entrepreneurial orientation in community colleges and enhancing their adaptability and flexibility in response to environmental changes. It also encouraged the adoption of global excellence models such as EFQM, to improve performance quality and ensure sustainability in these colleges.
The dissertation defense was attended by a number of academics, researchers, students, colleagues of the researcher, and members of his family.
