Sana’a University President Meets with Faculty and Center Website Administrators, Emphasizes Quality Performance

Prof. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bukhaiti, Sana’a University Rector, convened a meeting today at the University’s headquarters with the administrators responsible for websites and social media platforms in the university’s faculties and centers. The meeting focused on strengthening and accelerating media performance in line with the university’s growing achievements.
At the start, the Rector congratulated the administrators on the university’s notable progress in the July 2025 Webometrics global ranking, describing it as the outcome of dedicated efforts to enhance university media and expand its digital presence, noting that this is an indicator of even greater accomplishments ahead.
During the meeting, which was attended by Prof. Omar Daer, Dean of the Faculty of Media, and Mr. Mustafa Sharee, Assistant General Secretary of the University, Prof. Al-Bukhaiti underscored the need for clarity, transparency, and professionalism in media work, highlighting its role in increasing the visibility of research on the university’s digital platforms and fostering stronger communication with both academic and international communities. He affirmed that quality in performance is a reflection of Sana’a University’s identity as a distinguished institution and a source of national pride.
He further noted that the university’s positive reputation places greater responsibility on all staff members to elevate performance and boost competitiveness through effective media that showcases the university’s strengths, with emphasis on delivering high-quality content to its audiences.
The Rector stressed that media performance, whether via the websites or the university’s main portal, will undergo continuous evaluation to ensure improvement, address shortcomings, and build on recent institutional developments. He called for more focus on documenting scientific, research, and innovative activities to maximize their impact.
Prof. Al-Bukhaiti also highlighted the importance of quality performance in all published content, whether research, scholarly publications, high-resolution images, videos, or other digital outputs, considering them as essential components for achieving higher international rankings.
Mr. Adel Al-Hababi, the Rector’s Assistant for Media Affairs, praised the Rector’s commitment to developing media performance and supporting staff in the field, noting that this has strengthened the university’s local and global presence. He urged administrators to intensity efforts to sustain recent achievements and advance toward greater distinction and competitiveness in the future.
The Rector also listened to insights from web administrators across faculties and centers regarding strategies for enhancing performance and meeting the pressing needs required to keep pace with the dynamic growth in the university’s academic, educational, and infrastructural progress.
