Closing of Workshop on Reviewing and Developing MA Programs at Faculty of Computer & Information Technology

Sponsored by the Minister of Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Hasan Abdullah Al-Sa’adi, and the Rector of Sana’a University, Prof. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bukhaiti, the Faculty of Computer and Information Technology concluded its workshop entitled Review and Development of Master’s Programs in the Faculty of Computer and Information Technology. The workshop aimed at updating academic programs in line with quality standards and the demands of the labor market.
The workshop sessions yielded several significant outcomes, most notably updating the vision, mission, and objectives; restructuring academic specializations; and enriching curricula with recently emerging topics such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and cloud computing. They also resulted in the preparation of updated course descriptions with clearly defined learning outcomes, aligned with accreditation requirements.
Additional outcomes involved developing a plan to align student projects with national priorities and labor market needs, proposing partnerships with the industrial sector, enhancing program documents and guides, and adopting a collective feedback mechanism to ensure continuous improvement.
These initiatives underscore the strong support of the University leadership and the faculty’s dedication to improving the quality of its academic outputs while equipping graduates with the competencies needed to keep pace with rapid advancements in technology and digital transformation.
