University President Honors Top Students at the Faculty of Mass Communication

Today, Prof. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bukhaiti, Sana’a University Rector, honored the top-ranking students at the Faculty of Mass Communication. The recognition took place during a ceremony held by the faculty to celebrate the birthday of the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) and welcome the newly admitted students.
The event began with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by the national anthem. In his address, Prof. Al-Bukhaiti welcomed the freshers and congratulated the top achievers. He praised the faculty’s distinguished reputation, highlighting its experienced academic staff and long history in media and journalism education. He also emphasized its role in graduating competent media professionals who contribute to a genuine, faith-based, and elevated national media landscape.
The Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Omar Daer Al-Bukhaiti, expressed his pride in the faculty’s history as one of the university’s most important colleges. He congratulated the top students on their achievements and stressed the importance of using their academic excellence to serve the community and advance the media profession.
Speaking on behalf of his peers, student Alaa Shamsan, the representative of the University Student Forum (USF), expressed their pride in their success and affirmed their commitment to continued academic excellence.
This recognition is part of the faculty’s effort to foster a culture of excellence among its students and to celebrate the noble values embodied by the birth of the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH).
