Review of Progress Reports and Final Preparations for Implementing the Training Course for Website Administrators at Sana’a University

The fifth periodic meeting of website and social media administrators from various faculties and research centers at Sana’a University was held today, chaired by Mr. Adel Al-Hababi, Rector’s Assistant for Media Affairs.
The meeting focused on reviewing final preparations for launching the first training course of the year, designed to enhance the skills of university media teams in news writing, publication design, and photography. The program aims to improve media performance and enhance the professional and digital presence of Sana’a University.
In his remarks, Mr. Al-Hababi emphasized the importance of preserving and building upon the recent achievements of the university’s media network. He stressed the need for consistent daily coverage of faculty and center activities and for showing the unique qualities that distinguish Sana’a University from other Yemeni universities, which is an essential element in reinforcing the university’s positive image in society.
He explained that this training course is part of a comprehensive plan to qualify and develop the university’s media staff. Continuous training and qualifications, he emphasized, are fundamental to improving the performance of media teams across the university’s websites and social platforms, enabling them to produce high-quality content that reflects Sana’a University’s excellence in both academic and media fields.
Al-Hababi further added that through such programs, the university aims to cultivate a new generation of media professionals capable of adapting to modern digital trends and producing creative, impactful content that strengthens engagement with both the academic community and the wider public.
The meeting also included the presentation and discussion of progress reports for October, summarizing the news, events, and activities published across the websites and social media pages of the faculties and centers.
Participants reviewed several comments and suggestions submitted by media administrators to improve media workflows, enhance field coverage, and optimize digital publishing practices.
This meeting is part of the university’s regular coordination sessions for media administrators, intended to monitor the performance of media platforms, promote collaboration among media units, and support the ongoing development and qualitative advancement of university media performance.
