Academic Council Holds 5th Regular Meeting for the 1447 AH / 2025–2026 Academic Year

Sana’a University’s Academic Council convened its fifth regular meeting for the 1447 AH / 2025–2026 academic year on Sunday, 23 November 2025. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Ibrahim Ahmed Al-Mutaa, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, and attended by council members representing various faculties across the university.
At the beginning of the session, the Council reviewed and approved the minutes of its previous meeting.
The Council also endorsed a set of academic actions, including eight promotions, eight academic rank adjustments, and the final approval of tenure for ten faculty members who have completed all required procedures.
Members additionally discussed several issues related to the teaching process and academic performance across faculties. Appropriate decisions were adopted to further strengthen the quality of education and enhance academic performance throughout the university.
