Sana’a University has issued the third edition of its Comprehensive Scientific Directory, the largest and most detailed reference of its kind to date, documenting the university’s academic and research output since its establishment more than half a century ago.
The newly released directory showcases over fifty years of accumulated scholarly work, including theses and dissertations, peer-reviewed papers, academic books, and research projects carried out by faculty members and researchers across the university’s colleges and centers.
In a statement to the university’s website, University Rector Prof. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bukhaiti described the publication as a “historic milestone” that reflects the sustained academic and research efforts of the university community over the past five decades.
He noted that the directory “serves as an authoritative reference and a pioneering scientific record of the university’s research journey. It reaffirms Sana’a University’s leading position in scientific research both locally and regionally and underscores its commitment to supporting research and advancing knowledge production.”
Published by the University Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center (ADQAC) in two volumes, the directory aims to provide a precise and verified account of the university’s research trajectory. It also seeks to enhance institutional research planning and offer researchers and postgraduate students a reliable, accredited database that supports knowledge development and innovation.
The university emphasized that this encyclopedic work aligns with its broader strategy to strengthen the research ecosystem, highlight the scientific achievements of its faculty, and offer an open resource for future studies, analyses, and policy planning.
