Sana’a University Enhances Its Digital Presence Through Targeted Meetings at Faculties of Medicine and Pharmacy

As part of Sana’a University’s efforts to enhance media performance and advance digital transformation across its faculties and centers, a series of specialized meetings was held on Saturday and Sunday between Mr. Adel Al-Hababi, the Rector’s Assistant for Media Affairs, and the leadership of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and the Faculty of Pharmacy. The meetings focused on updating official websites and activating, managing, and securing social media platforms.
At the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, an expanded meeting brought together Mr. Adel Al-Hababi and Prof. Mohammed Al-Shahari, Dean of the Faculty; Prof. Arwa Othman, the Vice Dean for Student Affairs; Prof. Anwar Al-Moghalis, the Vice Dean for Clinical Affairs and Hospitals; Prof. Ahmed Mujahid, the Vice Dean for Quality Affairs; and Mr. Mohammed Noaman, the Website Manager, along with members of the steering committee and relevant specialists.
The meeting discussed approaches to developing the Faculty’s official website, improving content management, and ensuring the regular updating of data and information. Emphasis was placed on unifying media messaging and guaranteeing the accuracy of published academic, scientific, and research-related news and activities.
Participants also emphasized the crucial role of the website and social media platforms in showcasing the Faculty’s activities, enhancing its institutional visibility, and facilitating effective communication with students, staff, and the broader community.
Correspondingly, Mr. Al-Hababi held a similar meeting with the leadership of the Faculty of Pharmacy, attended by the Dean, Prof. Ahmed Al-Sabati; the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Yahya Al-Dokhain; the Faculty’s General Secretary, Mr. Abdulwahab Al-Mutawakil; and the Director of Information Systems, Mr. Iskandar Al-Obaidi.
The discussion focused on methods for updating the Faculty of Pharmacy’s website content, as well as procedures for creating, managing, and securing its social media pages and linking them to the official email address and designated phone number. These steps aim to enhance digital protection, ensure credibility, and safeguard the Faculty’s institutional identity.
Both meetings emphasized the need for the continuous development and updating of the University’s digital platforms in line with unified professional standards, reflecting Sana’a University’s academic and media standing and supporting its strategic move toward digital transformation and improved university ranking
